While Australia Day is a day for everyone to enjoy, the Australia Day Committee (Victoria) does run one exclusive club that only a select few are lucky enough to join! The 26ers Club is a club for those Victorian residents who are born on 26 January and share their day with our country’s national day.
Membership is free and you can join at any time throughout the year, by sending a copy of your birth date proof (birth certificate, passport or driver's license) and current mailing address in Victoria to the Committee:

On joining the club you receive a certificate and lapel pin. For your birthday each year you receive a birthday card and an invitation from the Chair of the Committee to participate in both the People’s March and the 26ers cake cutting ceremony on Australia Day in Melbourne.
The Australia Day Committee (Victoria) does not provide commemorative spoons for babies born on Australia Day. These are available from the Australia Day Council. You can call 03 9726 9159 for further information.
