B# Big Band

A free concert at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl with entertainment from the 17 piece B# Big Band, a jazz, swing and dance band playing music from the 30s, 40s and 50s swing eras. 

As a special performance for Australia Day 2013, the B# Big Band will be joined by Grace Knight.  Grace was the lead singer of the internationally successful Eurogliders, and perfomed in the award winning mini-series 'Come in Spinner'.  Grace will join the band for some classic hits inlcuding 'Fever, Moondance, Mamma He Treats Your Daughter Mean'. 

The B# Big Band attracts big band followers and swing dancers, and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl is the perfect location to dance and celebrate Australia Day.

There will be a variety of food stalls on the day inlcuding kebabs and Turkish gozleme, crepes and coffee (drinks will also be sold).   Patrons will also be able to access Kings Domain Gardens for take away food.
